The Ache for Light: A Poem
A poem about the ache for light when we're caught up our busy lives and what's possible when we slow down.
'}}

Oh, Emily, how I ache for
That certain slant of light
During these days of weariness,
Packaged in the hustle and bustle
Of everyday life.

Yet when I lie in stillness
And close my eyes,
I can feel the beams of past warmth
Transcend through time,
Lie down upon me, and
Bathe me in jubilee once more.
